High-Energy X-Ray Systems

See Deeper. Inspect Smarter. Perform Without Limits.

When dense alloys, thick castings, or solid propellants stand in the way — MQS helps you see beyond.
Built on powerful dual-energy LINAC platforms and supported by real-time digital radiography, our high-energy X-ray systems are engineered to handle what others can’t — inspecting up to 500mm of steel and capturing micro-defects in real time.
Trusted in national missions across Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, and Heavy Engineering, MQS systems are built for precision, built for scale, and built for the future.

In 2025, MQS received the SIDM Champion Award for indigenization in High-Energy CT Systems, presented by the Hon’ble Minister.

High-Energy LINAC Models – Overview & Specs

Tailored to Application. Powered by Precision.

From lightweight castings to solid rocket motors, MQS offers a versatile range of LINAC models to match inspection depth, resolution, and safety requirements — across industries and complexity levels.

Model: M1

Compact entry-level LINAC for basic radiography of small to medium-density objects. Ideal for labs, R&D, and light engineering parts.

  • Energy: 0.95 MeV
  • Max Dose Rate: 0.25 Gy/min
  • Steel Thickness Range: 30 – 105 mm
  • Use Cases: Castings, aluminium components, lightweight electronics enclosures

Model: M3A

Versatile mid-energy system suited for general-purpose inspection of castings and medium-density structures. Configurable in multiple energy levels for deeper penetration.

  • Energy Options: 1 MeV, 2 MeV, 3 MeV
  • Max Dose Rates: 0.25 – 3 Gy/min
  • Steel Thickness Range: 30 – 210 mm
  • Use Cases: Aerospace components, valves, complex geometries in auto/industrial parts

Model: M6A

Built for higher-density inspection with more power and depth, the M6A is preferred for materials like stainless steel and heavy alloys.

  • Energy Options: 3.5 MeV, 5 MeV, 6 MeV
  • Max Dose Rates: 2.5 – 8 Gy/min
  • Steel Thickness Range: 35 – 270 mm
  • Use Cases: Defence castings, pressure vessels, large welded joints

Model: M9A

High-power industrial-grade LINAC for applications where thicker penetration and higher frame rates are required. Supports small focal spots for higher resolution.

  • Energy Options: 5 MeV, 6 MeV, 9 MeV
  • Max Dose Rate: Up to 30 Gy/min
  • Steel Thickness Range: 40 – 380 mm
  • Use Cases: Large auto castings, defence-grade munitions, rocket parts
