Home / Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
MQS designs and builds custom Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to conduct efficient, accurate testing of assemblies and systems during design, production, and maintenance stages. ATE is especially valuable for critical items that can’t be verified using off-the-shelf test equipment, enabling high-throughput testing with minimal user intervention and reduced human error. MQS has 25+ years of experience developing and customizing test systems for defence applications, including test & measurement solutions for missile assemblies, launchers, fuzes, propellants, ignitors, missiles, and torpedoes. Based on requirement and budget, MQS offers two broad ATE architectures: Microcontroller-based and PC-based.
Automated test execution with minimal operator intervention improves repeatability and reduces mistakes.
Designed for critical assemblies where off-the-shelf equipment is not sufficient.
Flexible architecture supports upgrades as requirements evolve.
GUI with minimal training needs, custom report generation, and built-in storage for large test records.
Portable/battery-operated configurations possible depending on usage environment.
Final testing during assembly & pre-firing (functional, response time, launch mechanism).
Validation of mechanical fuze (opening time & speed).
High-speed resistance & tension testing.
Drift parameters and stabilization rate testing for gyro gimbal assemblies.
Final validation & sub-assembly testing during integration.
Continuity, isolation resistance, insulation strength for airborne applications.
